The Chief Minister said that event that we were all waiting for; the
Vibrant Gujarat Summit has arrived. Shri Modi pointed out, “When
a thought is institutionalized, its credibility is built. From 2003,
we evolved the concept of this summit. We started with a small

seeing the entire exhibition took 15 minutes. See today we have
reached fromwhere to where.” He further said, “Earlier when we
inaugurated trade fairs barely 300 people came. Now there are so
many people. This is a big thing.” He expressed confidence that a
large number of people would visit the trade fair.
Shri Modi recalled that there was a time when trade fairs were
restricted to Delhi but pointed that now slowly this is shifting to
the states. Talking about the initiatives taken by Gujarat, Shri Modi
affirmed, “The initiatives of Gujarat are not restricted to our state
only. Many states are doing similar things to attract investment.
Our efforts have become a trend setter in this regard.”
He said, “The Global Trade Show is an integral component of
Vibrant Gujarat Summit. This platformoffers a unique opportunity
to corporate houses, institutions and industrial giants not only
to showcase their innovations, products and services to a large
gathering of Indian and global summit delegates but also allows
to have meaningful business-to-business interactions resulting
in serious business and trade opportunities. It is an excellent
platform for Youth & Student to acquire knowledge.”
He shared that trade fairs such as these are very different from
seeing only brochures etc. He stated that trade fairs provide
immense facilities and serve as a catalyst for promoting business.
