Vibrant Gujarat Summits – the brainchild of Gujarat Chief Minister
Shri NarendraModi – are effectivemicrocosms of the aspirational
and entrepreneurial Gujarat. The impressive efficacy with which
the attention of the world has been diverted to Gujarat is a
testament to the fact that the man at the helm – Shri Modi – is
one of the greatest living brand ambassadors of the State.

What started as just an investment summit has today become a
forum for various governments and global businesses to network,
discuss and explore not only various business opportunities but
also trends in technology and innovation.
The theme for the 2003 Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit was ‘Re-
Establishing Gujarat as Investment Destination.’ The themes for
the 2005 and 2007 Vibrant Summits were ‘Making Gujarat as
Preferred Investment Destination’ and ‘Making Gujarat as Most
Preferred Investment Destination’ respectively. In 2009, the
Vibrant Summit was aimed at highlighting Gujarat’s successful
development model. The theme for the 2009 summit was,
‘Showcasing Gujarat – The Growth Engine of India.’ The 2011 and
2013 Vibrant Gujarat Summits were aimed at showcasing Gujarat’s
success in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. The
theme for the 2011 and 2013 events was ‘The Global Hub.’
