Vadodara, a cultural and educational city is the
third largest megacity in Gujarat in the term of
human population and area. It is also known
as a city having a good number of Vad trees in
the past. The tree cover in campus of Lakshmi
Vilas Palace and the area from the Palace to the
campus of MS University, Vadodara, Railway
Staff College and along the Vishwamitri River is
very good. In the term of greenery within city
area, it is the second city after Gandhinagar. The
dimension of trees is also very good,
