Gujarat dedicates India's first canal-top Solar Power Project to the nation!
History was made on 24th April 2012 when Shri Narendra Modi dedicated to the nation India's first ever Canal-top Solar Power Project! This project on the Sanand Branch Canal of the Sardar Sarovar Project will generate 1.6 million units of clean electricity per year and will prevent 90 lakh litres of water from getting evaporated.
